Writing a “small” bio about who I am seems like trying to explain what the T.A.R.D.I.S. is. It’s a blue Police box isn’t it? No, it’s a time-traveling space ship. But that can’t possibly sum it up. So here is my little bio. A bit more than police box, a little more information than that, but certainly not all there is to me.

I am a returning student working on my Bachelors in Web Design at BYU-Idaho. My AA degree is from the Art Institute of Seattle, over 20 years ago, in Interior Design. That became a short lived career in CAD, computer drafting. I’m looking forward to a degree in Web Design though and broadening my prospects.

I have been married for 14 years. My husband and I, both having been previously married, have a “Yours, Mine & Ours” type of family. We have four children between the ages of 27 and 32, and we have a 10 year old and a 7 year old. Between the two of us, we have 5 grandchildren.

I wear many hats: Wife, mother, grandmother. Student. Jewelry designer. Scentsy consultant. Instructor & Tax preparer with H&R Block. And, substitute teacher for my kid’s school district. Time management isn’t my strong suit, so if I just keep all my time filled, I don’t need to manage it, right? (joke)

No one would know to look at me, but I am a geek. I geek out over beads (really great beads), Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Jeopardy, antique typewriters and what I can make with them, children’s books and their illustrators, office and art supplies, and so much more.

Like the T.A.R.D.I.S., I am “bigger on the inside”.

  1. Project 4 – Very nice montage. I like the color scheme you chose. Very nice memorial thought. I might recommend on your Process that you elaborate on what element you blended, or what photo you enhanced and how. That way it would help us to better understand the process you went through to create your work of art.
